How are we all this fine Sunday evening? Today we went to the great British craft festival for the first time and it was amazing. We had a great time together. It was for mini me's birthday and she loved it. We spent far more than we should of but got some beautiful things!
I got embellishments and stamps for princess's card/gift. I'm hoping she loves it, it's so hard getting 16th birthday presents as its a massive age but she can't drink, drive etc so getting a special gift can be hard! And I'm not even her parents so good luck there!
I'll be doing a project video this week, I'm very nervous so be gentle. I have some new stamps I want to review. I have also been looking at some of the 'we r memory keepers' tools that will greatly help disabled and able bodied crafters.
The festival was very accessible but we were parked miles away and could of done being redirected to the car park outside the entrance instead of a field miles away. Not literally miles but it felt like it to those that were walking! Haha
They also don't have a cash machine and the only one available was at a farmers shop somewhere close(ish). You also had to buy something in order to use the machine. The venders also had £10 minimum for some of them. This is obviously a great tactic as I bought more just to pay with card!
I will be filming a haul video when the rest of my items arrive. Some have been personalised and will be posted.
We did enjoy it so much I have converted K and mini me to regular craft fairs and to do the entire weekend next year at the craft festival! I'm so excited as I've been trying to get there for the last 3 years!
Anyway everyone, keep crafting with a difference !
