Ok so now you have all your supplies, let's get cracking! This is my first blog post and tutorial for a project so please bare with me and if you have any comments or suggestions please share them with me - creatingwithadifference@charleyzangelz.co.uk.

The first tip I recommend is to stamp off any new stamps on a scrap bit of paper or your Stampin' Up! grid pad. Once that's done, and you have cut all your
supplies to the right sizes, You want to score all your layers and your white wrap piece for the closure.

Step 1 -
8 X 8 score marks: 2 and 5/8 inches, 5 and 2/8 inches
7X7 score marks: 2 and 2/8 inches, 4 and 4/8 inches
6 X 6 score marks: 2 inches and 4 inches
4.25 inch square score marks: 3/4 inch on all 4 sides

Step 2 -
Now cut all 4 outer corners off each of the old olive layers. You will then be left with this ...

Step 3 -
Now you can use whisper white cardstock and patterned paper like I did to matt and layer each side of the box. I did this for all 3 layers inside and out. Use whatever you would like. I used pattered paper on the outside layers and white/patterned paper/embellishments for the insides.

Step 4 -
Cut up on 2 sides your 4 corners and then adhere them together so you get the box lid shape. Cut on the purple lines on the diagram below. I used patterned paper for my lid but you can use cardstock.

Step 5 -
I stamped various images from the watercolour wings stamp set on my layers and added more patterened paper and rhinestones. I coloured my rhinestones to match my colour scheme. I used sharpies to do this but you can use any kind of permanent marker. I used snail and fast fuse as my adhesive for my matting and layering.

Step 6 -
Now you have the lid all sorted and the layers you can now adhere all 3 layers onto each other. You can use 1 layer of dimensionals on each layer putting them largest to smallest.

Step 7 -
Now you have the main part done you can add the extras! I used a large flower punch and the pansy punch to make a holder for the EOS balm. I layered several dimensional's onto each other and then stuck my larger flower with the petals curled under into the middle of the smallest/top layer. The curled petals hide the dimensional's. You can add the pansy punch on top with glue dots and glue dot the EOS balm onto that. This is still easily removable for the recipient.

Step 8 -
Once all the inside is done you can use the word window or washi tape punches to add a label, you can also add a sentiment, I am going to add a name but have left that off incase she sees this! hehe. I also used the ity bitty petal and added some coloured rhinestones. You can use the itty bitty accents flower instead.

I hope you all have enjoyed this porject! I loved making it and if I can make a quicker video I will pop one up but I can't seem to get it any quicker than 30 minutes. If that is an acceptable length on YouTube please let me know!

I love using SU products and using up my old retired stuff leaving room to buy new things! Got to love pretty things to play with!

Much love

xoxo
