Scrabble Artwork

Hello Lovelies!

I am so sorry I haven't been online much in the last 3 months. Sadly my brother and Gran died suddenly within a few weeks of each other so it has been a difficult time for my family and I. I would like to say a big thank you for all the kind words and cards I have received over the last 3 months. You all mean the world to me and I promise to be more on top of things and give a much better customer service to you all and a much better friendship!

A customer of mine and one of my carers has ordered 3 commission artworks over the last 3 months and I have been working on them. Here are the pictures of them and a brief description of what I used and how I made them.

She chose scrabble letters and the picture frame and I done the rest. The scrabble letters are from Ebay and the frame is from HobbyCraft.

Here is the link for the frames -http://www.hobbycraft.co.uk/innova-editions-deep-box-frame-40-cm-x-40-cm/567512-1000

Some of the products used have now retired sadly but have no fear, stampin' up! has given us better goodies in the new catalogue so you can replace the retired products with them. That is what I do if I see someone's project and some of the items are retired. That's also a way of making it your own.

I have added all the supplies in one link as they have all be used for the frames. The first one was pinks, glitter and girly theme. The second was blacks/greys/whites with marriage as the theme. The last one was blues/yellows with wedding as the theme as well.

I stuck all the scrabble letters onto some acetate (window sheets) with the grid paper underneath so I could line it all up and get the words straight. I then stuck that to white card and used glue dots behind the letters to hide the adhesive. I then simply added the decorations/pictures/sentiments etc.

I am determined to offer a more regular content routine for you all so watch this space. Take care and let me know what art you make! Stampin' Up! isn't limited to cards and scrapbooking. Think outside the box and experiment!
