This Week's Class Projects

Hello Lovelies!

I am so sorry I have been so slack with my blog for the last few weeks.

Last week we made shaker cards using the swirly framelits. We done a standard 4inch x 6 inch card and used whisper white envelopes from SU. I made all the layers 1/4 inch shorter and narrower as well. We used whisper white to stamp and sponged the edges. I used black card stock for the edge of the shake hole.

The hole was made with the 1 3/4 inch circle punch and the swirly scribbles was die cut with the big shot and magnetic platform in the sandwich. We glued the window sheet to the back of the whisper white once all the stamping was complete. We also used the sprinkles punch and the new foam strips to add to the filling of the shaker card.

We added some sequins from a cheap craft shop here me to add some wow! Some of my customers used wink of stella and all the cards were laid out in a different format and with different sentiments depending on what they liked and needed. I think it's great to see people take your design and make it their own. I really feel like a proud Mumma at the end of class once I have taught someone how to do something.

We used the in colours for 2016-2018 as well as the card stock and some other bits from my scraps folder. Class is a great way to go through my scraps folder and use things up!

Here is a link so you can convert the measurements to whatever format you like -

Here are all the pictures of the cards made in class -

As you can see from the pictures my ladies used different layouts, colours, embelishments etc. They also all cut up the long strand die cut in whisper white and used it in different ways. That was great as well because you can be inspired by someone elses ideas and CASE them! (CASE: Copy and Share Everything)

I hope you find this a help.

Here is the simply list we used - Product List
Lots of love
