Lemons with Zest Artwork
Hello Lovers of pink! Today’s project is super special, it is a small 6in x 4in piece of artwork I have made for my Auntie. It is her Birthday 14th August and it is also the 1 year anniversary of my Grandad’s (her brother) passing. So I thought she deserved an extra gift.
She loves sparkle and pink so I made her this small gift. I went with a small one as my family are from Scotland and I didn’t want it broken in the post. Smaller pictures are easier to wrap and keep safe.
I used a combination of whole lot of lovely and lemon zest stamp sets, I mixed a variety of pinks and purples whilst stamping off or some images. This built layers and texture to make the image pop.
I stamped my sentiments first so the images could frame it and make a background. I added some light sponging over the centre and sentiments to keep the colours matching throughout. There really was no big design or technique with this project. I simply stamped, sponged and added wink of Stella until I was happy with the image. I help she likes it and I will let you all know her reaction next time.
She got a matching card but I am stupid and forgot to take a picture so just imagine something similar on a card lol. Hope you like it! Enjoy.
