Pootles Design Team Week 3 of 4
Hello blog reading people! (Can you tell I am rapidly running out of opening names lol. How is your week going?
So today’s card is special as it’s a birthday card for all of us December babies who always end up with Christmas themed paper, card, parties as the world forgets about us. LOL
My theme is pink which isn’t my favourite colour but worked for this card.
As always I have used A4 cardstock, cut in half and scored in half. This time it is a told folding tent style. Whatever your version of letter size or A4 simply do the same.
My mat is 1/4 inch that’s 1/2 cm shorter and narrower than the base.
My layer is 1/4 inch that’s 1/2 cm shorter and narrower than the mat.
Stamp sets - Brightly life Christmas and all things thanks
Colours - melon mambo, berry burst, powder pink, memento black
Embellishments - wink of Stella and glitter enamel dots
Adhesives - tombow, glue dots and dimensionals
I sponged the edges but decided to do some bits with powder pink and some berry burst which looks great. My mat is Melon mambo and card base is thick whisper white.
Hope you like today’s card. It is my 3rd one for Pootles Design Team. My group are creating projects every Thursday for October. Sam gave us the Brightly lit Christmas stamp set. I was nervous at first but now in love.
Lots of love
